How are you feeling right now?

TGIF- for most of my adult life that was a restaurant. Besides that, the phrase was somewhat meaningless to me.

It was something “old people” said.

I worked in restaurants until I was 40. Sometimes it was Whole Foods, and one time I was an area manager for a large food sales corp. For all those 20 years, Friday meant work, and not only work but the Game is on Business work. The money nights were coming- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning.

Now I’m “old people. “

I work the daily grind Monday morning through to Friday and Saturday and Sunday off. Is it a better life? Honestly, I don’t know. It doesn’t matter because I have to have health insurance.

God Blessed the USA.

Where even health care and insurance to cover that is cut throat and capitalist.
